Java Developer / Fintech / Stockholm

Jefferson Frank are working with one of the largest players within the Banking & Insurance domains.

This client has over 6000 employee's covering all of Sweden through local branches & offices. Working with one of the subsidiaries that act as a mutual fund insurance company they offer pension savings, working with both internal and external funds. They have a growing collection of tech-agnostic, product teams operating from their Stockholm office. Recognised as one of Sweden's top employers they have created a multi-cultural environment which maintains a local feel.

The role:

The client is hiring for a highly competent Java engineer to join one of their DevOps orientated teams. In terms of development, you'll be building a wide variety of solutions including greenfield development of new product and customer advisory systems and large scale integration/migration projects. This client is undergoing a large digital transformation so new technologies are being integrated to the existing infrastructure with every month that goes by. You'll need to possess an engineering mindset, the ability to look at a code base and solve problems without guidance. Bring experience or an interest in working within the Fintech/Banking sector is not essential but will be preferred.

Requirements:

* 3+ years experience with Java programming, preferably working with a modern version
* Experience with at least one DevOps tool from Kubernetes, Docker or Jenkins
* Swedish speaking
