GCP Solutions Architect

12 month fully remote contract (Outside)

I am looking for a GCP Solutions Architect with expertise in Python, data, Terraform, and Google Cloud.

The ideal candidate will work closely with our end client, implement, and maintain GCP solutions that meet their business needs.

You will have hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services and solutions, including data storage, compute, networking, security, and automation.



Key Responsibilities:

* Design, develop and deploy GCP solutions for our clients' business needs.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, developers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to clients and internal teams in GCP best practices, solutions, and services.
* Develop and maintain automated infrastructure deployment using Terraform and other DevOps tools.
* Write Python scripts to automate tasks and optimize workflows.
* Monitor and optimize the performance of GCP solutions to ensure their scalability, reliability, and availability.
* Design and implement security controls and best practices for GCP solutions.
* Participate in pre-sales activities, including proposals, solution design, and client presentations.

Qualifications:

* 5+ years of experience as a GCP Solutions Architect.
* Experience with Python programming, data processing, and analysis.
* Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services and solutions, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, Cloud Bigtable, Cloud Pub/Sub, and Cloud Dataflow.
* Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and other DevOps tools.
* Experience in designing and implementing scalable and fault-tolerant solutions.
* Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and load balancing.
* Experience in implementing security controls and best practices for cloud solutions.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Google Cloud certifications are a plus.
