GCP Enterprise Architect

Calling all Enterprise Architects (Outside IR35)

I currently have an urgent requirement for an Enterprise Architect to engage on 12 month contract.

Excellent understanding of building Terraform modules in GCP this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions using Terraform modules in AWS and GCP.
* Manage and maintain managed AWS services, including EC2, VPC, KMS, IAM, S3, EMR, Kinesis, EMR, Glue, Athena, Sagemaker, Cloudwatch, and Lambda.
* Develop data engineering pipelines and workflows, leveraging Python, Pandas, and Spark, with experience in Airflow.
* Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions, CircleCI, and TFE.
* Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements, and implement solutions.
* Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members.
* Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in cloud infrastructure engineering.

Requirements:

* Recent, relevant experience in a client-facing role, working as part of an agile team.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Excellent understanding of building Terraform modules in AWS and GCP.
* Excellent understanding of managed AWS services.
* Excellent knowledge of Python, Pandas, and Spark.
* Airflow experience is important.
* Knowledge of building CI/CD pipelines is preferred(i.e. Github Actions, CircleCI, TFE).
* Data engineering experience is important.
* Knowledge of Azure and/or Kubernetes is a bonus.
* Knowledge of AWS CloudFormation is a bonus.
