Backend Java Developer (Finnish Speaking, Tampere)

Mid-Level Backend Developer (Finnish Speaking):

* Salary: 3000 - 4500€/Pm depending on relevant experience

One of our clients is looking for a back-end developer to join their team and continue their steady growth year-on-year. Founded in 1970 as a company to create safe parking compounds within Tampere, they have since become an all-in-one smart parking product house with a plethora of parking compounds and an app that offers comprehensive smart-parking solutions.

Their development team is currently 4-strong with an extremely flat hierarchy for a company this well-established. The small team size presents an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge (EG. Moving from a purely Front/Back end focus into more Fullstack work or learning how to use AWS products)

* Experience working with a core Java stack
* Experience creating applications with Spring/Springboot
* Experience with Hibernate ORM for mapping in Java
* Their Frontend is built on React/Typescript so any experience with these is considered a big plus
* Any experience on core AWS products is a bonus, the company have big plans to move into cloud tech in the not-too-distant future
* The company language is Finnish so fluent Finnish language skills are a requirement
* Their current development team consists of 4 people, an extremely flat hierarchy for a company this well-established and long-standing
* The relatively small team size means there are a lot of opportunities to grow and expand your knowledge if you desire to do so (EG. Moving from a purely Front/Back end focus into more Fullstack work or learning how to use AWS products)
* The company is city-owned so there is a level of resilience to the work (very stable work and not hugely affected by financial/social instabilities)
