Remote-first React Developer

Do you want to be part of an international and innovative team, and help bring to market a must-have open-source software product to connected devices and the Internet of Things?

As part of building out our team, we are looking for a Senior frontend Software Engineer. The product, based on open source, has in a short period of time become a standard for over-the-air updates of IoT and connected devices.

Are you self-driven and smart? Do you have ambitions to make a difference? We seek a product life-cycle developer (designing, implementing, documenting, testing, maintaining and supporting). Please note that for this role candidates can be located either in Oslo or remotely in Europe.

About the role:

* Tooling is less important than the 'Software Engineering mindset' for this role. We use react for frontend but can consider our professional experience with Angular and Vue as relevant.
* You would work to develop the frontend and UX of our flagship product
* Working in an open source, AWS hosted, environment
* Work closely with the wider software development team
* Debug your own code
* Provide technical expertise for planning new features and improvements

We are looking for:

* 5+ Years of professional experience with React, Angular, Vue, JavaScript, CSS, HTML
* Knowledge of frontend accessibility concepts
* Knowledge of backend infrastructure, and modern deployment infrastructure is beneficial
* Location within CET timezone +/- 1 hour
* In Software Engineering, I.T. or related field
