We are seeking to fill the position of Quality System Administrator. This is a direct hire full time, Exempt position located at our corporate headquarters in Jacksonville, FL, and reports to the Engineering Design Manager.
The Quality System Administrator is a member of a multi-disciplinary team working on designing and documenting our systems and solutions. The Quality System Administrator is responsible for improving product quality and efficiency through optimization of the process and the establishment of engineering and manufacturing quality standards as we move towards ISO 9001 certification as a Quality Management System. The Quality System Administrator will support the requirements of the systems used to manage Engineering and Quality documentation. They will aid in the development of additional quality and knowledge management systems and be the point of contact for teams outside the Engineering department.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Continue development and integration into business processes as the system owner of Solidworks PDM
Continue the ongoing Integration of models and drawings into Solidworks PDM
Organize and maintain the Engineering Change Request System
Organize and maintain the Equipment Information Database to include QA/QC documentation from the Field, FSE team, and 3rd Party Vendors
Organize and maintain Engineering Procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
Demonstrates experience in the utilization, management, integration, and development with electronic organizational and knowledge management systems
Experience with Solidworks PDM or similar document management systems
Collaboration with engineers and operations teams to clarify specifications
Team Player and works well with others in a person-to-person workspace
High level of enthusiasm, strong integrity, and excellent organizational skills
Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing work schedules
Solid computer systems skills and familiarity with common applications (Microsoft Office, Windows, etc.)
Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities
Excellent communication skills
Education and Experience:
Associate in Applied Science-Drafting and Design Technology. A combination of education, training, and experience will be considered
Four to Six years' experience in similar role
Experience with Equipment Management and document Quality Control
Work environment is mostly indoors, in a clean, well-lighted office and warehouse environment that is temperature controlled
May occasionally be exposed to high noise levels
Required to work near others, sharing an open office space and warehouse with other staff
Must be able to lift heavy items/materials, with assistance when required
