DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

* Defining and setting up various environments and tools to support backend engineers
* Having the technical skills to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project
* Deploying to AWS Lambda Serverless architecture and services
* Defining and setting up error tracking and monitoring tools
* Deploying React based internal web applications
* Enhancing CI/CD pipeline with Github Actions, HashiCorp Terraform, and Vault
* Troubleshooting techniques and fixing code bugs to ensure successful deployment to various environments
* Defining and implementing infrastructure disaster recovery plan
* Identify and deploy cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
* Coordinating with stakeholders to manage incident and provide root cause analysis to mitigate risk and continuously improve the infrastructure
* Encouraging and building iteratively to automate processes wherever possible
* Participating in PagerDuty On-Call rotation
* Being able to work well and communicate clearly under pressure



Experience and Requirements

* 3+ years of experience as a DevOps practitioner/engineer
* 2+ years of development experience using Python 3
* 2+ years of experience AWS Lambda serverless architecture and how to scale
* Solid experience working with AWS RDS, VPC, VPN, API Gateway, EC2, CloudWatch
* Experience deploying web applications powered by React or similar frontend framework
* Experience working with 3rd party API and external partners
* Experience working with GitHub Actions
* Experience working with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tool to automate infrastructure
* Strong attention to detail
* Effective communication skills
