Whilst this role can be enjoyed on a remote OR hybrid basis, there will be occasional office requirement at HQ in Bristol. Working on public service transformation and cutting-edge commercial projects, our work has a wide reach helping make everyday life easier for everyone, including you.


Your future duties and responsibilities:

* Design, develop, modify, integrate, test, deploy and support enterprise-level Appian BPM workflow applications.
* Design and implement complex enterprise integrations with industry standard technologies including LDAP, Active Directory and other internal systems in the enterprise
* Design and develop database objects to support BPM applications and maintain database performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems
* Working in an Agile or Waterfall software development methodology, as the project dictates
* Working as part of a larger development team helping to conduct and participate in detailed design reviews and validate that the design follows the approved architecture
* Translating BPM requirement specifications into Appian process model prototypes and solutions

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

* Good knowledge and experience of Appian solutions and models
* Extensive knowledge of working with distributed infrastructure systems and client-server architectures
* JAVA/Springboot
* Relational databases and SQL scripting
* API integration

Desirable experience

* Agile Framework.
* JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, Sonar, Docker
* Pipeline support using technologies such as AWS, Jenkins, Openshift, Linux, Github, etc.
