Position Overview:

As an Azure Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data pipelines and data storage systems on the Azure platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Business Analysts, to understand data requirements, implement data integration solutions, and ensure data quality and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and develop scalable, efficient, and robust data pipelines on the Azure platform.
* Implement and maintain data storage solutions, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security.
* Collaborate with Data Scientists and Business Analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Optimize data workflows, performance, and scalability to enable timely and accurate data analysis.
* Conduct data profiling, data cleansing, and data transformation activities to ensure data quality and consistency.
* Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Azure data engineering and contribute to the continuous improvement of our data infrastructure.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Azure technologies.
* Proficient in Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Databricks.
* Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes.
* Experience with SQL, Python, and data integration technologies.
* Knowledge of cloud security best practices and data governance principles.
* Familiarity with SaaS platforms and the E-commerce domain is a plus.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
