Automation DevOps Engineer

Location: Stockholm, Sweden (Remote work with occasional on-site meetings)

Job Description: We are seeking a talented Freelance DevOps Automation Engineer with extensive experience in Azure to join our team for an exciting project based in Stockholm, Sweden. As a DevOps Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our development and deployment processes, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams, and leveraging Azure services to enhance application delivery.

Responsibilities:

* Design, implement, and manage automated deployment pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps and related tools.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate code, infrastructure changes, and streamline application releases.
* Leverage Azure services to provision, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure components.
* Implement and maintain configuration management solutions using tools like Ansible or Puppet.
* Monitor system performance and respond to incidents, ensuring high availability and reliability.
* Ensure compliance with security best practices and implement relevant Azure security features.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, testing, and production environments.
* Participate in regular stand-ups, meetings, and project planning sessions.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience as a DevOps Automation Engineer, preferably in Azure-focused environments.
* Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including but not limited to Azure DevOps, Azure Resource Manager, Azure Functions, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
* Strong proficiency in configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) for automation.
* Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash for automation tasks.
* Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and associated tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
* Familiarity with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently while staying aligned with project goals.
