As a Data Engineer, you play a vital role within the organization. You will be responsible for the development and management of the Data Platform, a core component that underlies all data-driven initiatives. Within this platform, you ensure the integration of essential components and oversee the quality of the data, guaranteeing the reliability of information. Your active contributions significantly enhance the overall performance and data products of the company. Additionally, you play a key role in unlocking data, a crucial aspect for optimizing performance. Each solution you implement is meticulously documented, and you remain open to innovation and improvement. Colleagues can always reach out to you for inquiries regarding data availability and reliability. Lastly, you take charge of data warehouse automation, elevating the efficiency of our data processing.

Nice to haves:

* Background in (technical) business administration, computer science, econometrics, artificial intelligence, mathematics, or computer science
* Proficiency in SQL, Python, and API management
* Knowledge of Databricks, DBT, DBX, Spark, and Datafactory
* Familiarity with data modeling techniques such as 3NF or Kimball
* Experience in ETL/ELT development and knowledge of database concepts and architectures

Bonus points:

* Retail experience is advantageous
* Familiarity with Sparx Enterprise Architect is a plus
