Contract Length - 6 months + 6 month extension

Location - Fully Remote - London Office

Start Date - Early June



Job Description

My client is urgently looking for 2x Data Engineers with excellent MongoDB experience. This is a great opportunity to secure a long term piece of work with a Tier 1 Banking client, for an initial 6 month period, commencing early in H2.

* Previous experience with FS/Banking experience required
* Multi phased project which is likely to extend beyond 6 months
* Given we are looking for SMEs the resources would need to be mid-senior level.

Key Responsibilities

Role/Project Details:

* Hyperscaler: Primary in Client is AWS, Azure secondary. These upgraded servers / DB would end up on mixture of private and/or public cloud
* Specific Tech: MongoDB is the specific skill needed
* Project Overview: Mongo DB factory is being proposed to upgrade and / or migrate c1400 Mongo DB instances which may include RHEL OS upgrades prior to Mongo DB version upgrades followed by migration to a new platform (private, public cloud).
* Phase 1 will focus on upgrading MongoDB versions where minimum requirements have been satisfied i.e. no OS upgrades prior
