IT Support Analyst
Location: Cambridge (predominately remote working)
This role will be part of a small group that provides support for AWS-focused services to our customers. You will resolve issues for customers and ensure that they are happy with the service that we provide. While doing so, you will develop AWS expertise which may enable you to progress to doing development work over time.
We are looking for technically able people who like to help customers and work as part of a team to deliver a service that keeps getting better. You will spend your working day using multiple service desks (our own and our partners where we are providing the AWS component of a broader service) and handling incidents, service requests and changes
You will also take ownership of tickets that you cannot resolve alone and liaise with colleagues to provide and document the solution, manage escalation of incidents and assist with root cause analysis whilst working to improve your knowledge and understanding of our services, customer requirements and of the AWS platform alongside your core duties.
* Proven experience on an MSP service desk
* Knowledge of ITIL terms and processes and Windows administration
* Good at communicating with customers in a helpful and professional manner via phone and email
* Virtualisation, AWS and Linux concepts
