PHP Developer - £50-60K - Remote - Construction

Have you reached a point in your career where stagnation is the operative word? Could do with a fresh challenge and something that makes you excited to get up in the morning?

Our client, a growing software development and consultancy company, are on the lookout for a PHP Developer to work on a greenfield project in the construction industry. This client has been growing vastly in its 12 years, working with large names such as Network Rail and Virgin Atlantic and this is an exciting new project!

The majority of work would be on the new Symfony app, someone who can really hit the ground running, no hand holding here. Key responsibilities associated with the role would be writing clean, quality code, developing new features, fixing bugs and working collaboratively in your team.

Essential skills are the following:

* Experience with PHP MVC frameworks (Symfony/Laravel/etc)
* Vue.js experience (React/Angular also considered)
* HTML, CSS\SASS and JavaScript libraries and frameworks
* Version control with Git or SVN

Desirable Skills are:

* Testing (Cypress, Jest, PHPUnit, Selenium)
* Database technologies, SQL & ORMs
* Understanding and use of design patterns
* Docker / CI / Amazon Web Services / Gitlab

The Tech stack includes:

* Symfony 5, Vue.js, PostgreSQL (via Doctrine ORM), Docker (dev), Gitlab CI, AWS, Kubernetes (prod)

The client is actively looking for these candidates and will be interviewing within 48 hours. If you'd be keen to hear more, simply send an email to or give me a call on 0203 808 7310.
