Platform Engineer, £90,000, Liverpool

A global consultancy who have gone from strength to strength over the last decade are looking for a Platform/DevOps Engineer to join their highly motivated and talented technology team in their Manchester offices.

You can expect to be working on an AWS deployment, containerization, Infrastructure and CI/CD Pipelines - and will work in a talented team to evolve and improve a framework for deploying applications and optimizing automation.

You will build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations and will troubleshoot and resolve issues in their development, test and production environment.

Experience which would be warmly received!

* Cloud (AWS)
* Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Operating Systems (Linux)
* IaC (Terraform)
* Scripting (Bash, Perl, Ruby, Python)
* Orchestration (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins)
* Serverless (Lambda)

It would be a huge bonus if you had any experience with operating Kubernetes, Docker for Serverless.

The role will place you within one of their teams with the expectation you drive technology adoption forward - proactively advise on market trends and bleeding edge technology. You can expect a high degree of autonomy with a significant element of trust in your technology strategy.

This company operates on a "remote-first basis". This means candidates need to be willing to travel to the office when the client requires it, which is very seldom
