UI Designer, £70,000, Hybrid (London) IT Consultancy

A new distinctive opportunity has arisen with the chance to work for a leading digital investor communications platform. This company has a backing by some of the biggest financial names in the industry such as, HSBC, JP Morgan, Citi and Deutsch Bank to name a few.

They are now looking for a digital product designer who will ensure products, features and services are valuable to customers and will meet their needs. You will be working with product managers, UX researchers and engineers to run user interview, perform usability testing, create wire-frames and interactive prototypes and design new features. A strong portfolio of successful UX/UI and other technical projects is essential.

Responsibilities and Duties:

* Understand product specifications and user psychology
* Work with UX researcher to run end to end design processes for a variety of initiatives within your team and validate your solutions with users, using both qualitative and quantitative methods
* Design end to end flow and experiences that are intuitive and elegant
* Develop wireframes and prototypes
* Maintain and evolve the design system

Essential Skills:

* Proven experience as a UX/UI designer or similar role
* Strong portfolio of design projects
* Proficient in design software (UXPin, Balsamiq, Figma)
* Experience with InVision or similar interactive prototype building software
* Knowledge of HTML/CSS & JavaScript
* Track record of contributing to prototypes and POCs

Preferred qualifications:

* BSc in Design, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
* Experience in a high growth environment within a start-up or scale-up
