Our client is one of the largest Global Consultancies in the field of AWS, who as of more recently have opened a new department specialising in the digital customer experience.

Our client navigates their clients through large-scale, technology driven transformation programmes, driving outstanding delivery from their team of expert engineers.

About the Role

Our clients Platform Engineers focus on delivering highly available, scalable enterprise solutions on IAAS/PAAS platforms, to engineer modern solutions based on their clients goals.

This could involve:

* Working on clients journey into digital transformation (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
* Implementing and maintaining platforms and services
* Contributing towards the business units strategy, through personal development and mentoring of Junior Engineers

What experience is sought?

Our client is looking for engineers with a range of hard and soft skills, and is open to all technical backgrounds looking to migrate to the Platform Engineering space.

As such, experience sought includes:

* Debugging a complex, multi-server service in a high availability production environment
* Cloud within a Production Environment: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
* Jenkins / Concourse / GitHub Actions
* Ansible / Puppet / Terraform
* Docker / Kubernetes
* Grafana / Nagios / Prometheus
* Bash / Python / Java

Please note that whilst not all of these tools and services are required, experience within Cloud, CI/CD, and Containerisation are essential. Additional skill-sets are highly beneficial.
