Our award-winning Client help their customers achieve commercial goals by developing frameworks which employ innovative, cutting-edge technologies to gather insurance pricing recommendations through the power of Data Analytics and Cloud services.
Due to on-going success and a surge in demand, they are currently expanding their Engineering team with the addition of an experienced DevOps Engineer with particular skills related to Big Data who will spearhead a cross-functional team of around 5 professionals, assisting with the delivery of the fore-mentioned Data Analytics framework to modernise the platform and scale its capabilities through a mixture of existing and greenfield projects.
Your responsibilities will include tooling, creating pipelines, automating test infrastructure, release engineering, support cloud-based development, develop change management processes, mentoring a team of Engineers, project management, provide operations insights as well as advocating a DevOps culture and practice across the business.
As a data-driven company, you will also be exposed to the realms of Big Data and therefore be acquainted with aspects including data modelling, data pipelines, ETL/ELT and data warehousing.

Eligibility: UK Resident with work authorisation for Full-time employment
* Permanent, Full-time position up to £75,000
