Database Engineer

Dublin (2/3 days per week in office)

Jefferson Frank are working with a well esteemed hedge fund who are looking for experienced Database Engineers to join their team. Their team are talented Database professionals looking after a sophisticated data estate supporting the hedgefunds core systems and products across a number Relational Database(s)/technologies.

They are looking for deep knowledge and experience in Vertica, which is a large composition of their database estate. This includes advanced database objects, data administration, engineering experience, performance tuning and more, for example. Experience with Vertica is a necessity for this role.

They are also looking for a seasoned background in other Relational Databases including MySQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL.

This role is well suited to a Database Engineer with 5+ years of experience in the above looking to move into a technically adept team working in a challenging environment supporting a technology led hedge fund.
