Our client is a rapidly growing company in the provision of advanced surveillance, security, and safety products within the Maritime industry. Through their vast range of products they offer across the globe they are able to change the ecosystem for the better, for example through the enhancement of maritime sustainability and the detection and prevention of illegal fishing. What will you be doing?

As a Test Engineer within our client's Product Development department you will be joining to plan, prepare and test their products before launch. You will therefore be working closely within the project team to understand the requirements, timelines and RAID items, to then conduct analyse determining the test conditions and acceptance criteria.

This role requires a high level of testing knowledge to coincide with the following duties:

* Analysis and Static Test project requirements, specifications and supporting materials
* Identification of test conditions and acceptance criteria
* Preparing Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Schedules and Test Reports
* Setting up Test Environments to perform validation

Please note that this is a full-time on-site position with optional start times between 8:00am to 9:30am, within their Bath based office.

What experience is sought?

Our client is looking for somebody with a mix of both technical proficiency as well as personable characteristics. Key desirables are specified below:

* Familiarity with a variety of testing techniques
* Knowledge of the Software Delivery Lifecycle
* Experience within Manual and Automation Testing (preferably Python)
* Test, Design, Planning and Estimation
* Experience of Test Management Tools (preferably Jira, Zephyr, SpiraTest or HP QC/ALM)
* Troubleshooting experience
* Communication / Presentation / Enthusiasm / Teamwork / Willingness to Learn
