Lead Software Engineer - Oslo

We are searching for a Lead Software Developer to join the team in Oslo!

We are on a journey to develop a more sustainable agricultural industry by developing a SaaS platform utilising AI to help customers in the industry make more informed decisions

As a leading member of the team, you will work hands-on to further the development of our platform, contribute towards building a strong engineering culture, and help lead the next chapter of growth as we continue to expand our customer base across Europe and the US.

You will work closely alongside the CTO and the development team based in Oslo, and enjoy a large amount of freedom over your tasks

Your day-to-day can include contributing towards product development and architecture, contributing towards code reviews and identifying areas for improvement

We are looking for you to bring some of the following skills & experiences:

* A strong academic background in IT or engineering (or equivalent years of experience)
* Professional experience in software development with Python
* Knowledge or experience with frontend technologies including Javascript/Typescript and React
* Experience building cloud based software (we use Azure)
* Experience working towards devops principles, CI/CD, and QA/testing
* Knowledge of databases and working with large amounts of data
* It is beneficial if you have experience with container technology and server-less architecture
