Scala Developer | Full Remote

FULL REMOTE - UP TO € 70.000

For one of our historic and best-known clients, among the leading online booking platforms on the market, we are delighted to be looking for a Scala Software Engineer.

The right person will join the Data Platform team and, among other responsibilities, will contribute develop data-intensive applications, improving data pipelines, and supporting the architectural design and evolution of the data platform.

Previous experience with Big Data technologies and/or Data Engineering skills are highly desirable, but please note this is not a Data Engineer role.

The ideal person possesses the following hard skills:

* strong software engineering background;
* previous experience with Scala;
* experience with the Big Data ecosystem;
* at least a basic experience in system administration with Linux;
* fluency in English.
