Staff Engineer, £110,000, Hybrid (London), Major Retail Client

I'm currently on the look out for senior staff Engineers to join my clients 150+ plus year old business that operates on an incredible scale. You will be working alongside multiple teams on projects and efforts that have strategic value to the company.

Within this role you can broaden your technical knowledge and help solve complex problems whilst using your agile skills to develop long lived teams. As a staff engineer you will help bring together complex outcomes that go beyond a single team and area. Throughout, you'll be working with engineers and 3rd parties to deliver high quality and well designed solutions.

You will be working with the head of engineering to set and achieve strategic goals and objectives; help evaluate and drive technical decisions and plan teams development and support.

This is a role that will require you to act as a technical backbone, a point of contact and a coach / guide. You will need the ability to become part of your teams and support them by leading from experience in what they're doing. You should be strong in both technical and agile mentor-ship, guiding on the engineering vision as well as helping them to increase their performance.

The salary is up to £110,000 alongside amazing benefits such as Hybrid working and amazing company benefits. This role is located in London and you would be required to go into the office twice a week.
