Product Marketing Manager


Responsibilities of the Product Marketing Manager include the following:

* Help to create compelling messaging that distills our technology and value proposition into powerful, compelling and differentiated messages and stories
* Develop high-quality, compelling content in a variety of forms including web copy, blogs, datasheets, whitepapers and presentations
* Be an evangelist for the company online and in person including presentations and events
* Create education and content that helps to educate and equip our field teams and partners to sell the value and differentiation of our products and solutions
* Collaborate with demand generation, events and digital marketing to define and implement campaigns and events to reach target audiences
* Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand product roadmap and to develop and implement coordinated plans for launches and announcements


Minimum Qualifications:

* 3+ years of experience in a product, solution or technical marketing role
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong skills distilling and communicating the value of technical products into clear, differentiated messages and value propositions to diverse audiences
* Experience working closely with a cross-functional range of people and teams, from sales to product management, alliances and more
* Fast, motivated learner with the ability to quickly grasp the key capabilities and value proposition of complex technologies
* Self-starter able to work self-sufficiently and to excel in a high-paced dynamic environment
* Team player able to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally within a distributed global team

Preferred Qualifications:

* 5+ years of experience in B2B product, technical or solutions marketing
* Experience marketing infrastructure software to technical IT audiences
* Hands-on experience, through education or experience, with infrastructure software
* Understanding of buyers journeys and how to map messages and content for each stage of that journey
* Strong familiarity with public cloud vendors and their services including Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure
* Understanding of key DevOps and Infrastructure Engineering concepts, roles and software Notes
