Data Architect - London - up to £110,000

Jefferson Frank have been enlisted to work with a global analytics and digital solutions company. They partner with organisations to build out their capabilities in analytics, cloud and AI and unlock growth. Their key industries are Insurance/Finance and have a global presence of 40,000 employees.

Role & Responsibilities

* Provide technical expertise in analysis, design, development and maintenance of enterprise data models and solutions
* Understand and translate business needs into data models and data architecture
* Translate business needs into data models and data architecture
* Create and maintain coneptual, logical and physical data models
* Organized versioning of documentation and models
* Reverse engineering of physical models from databases and SQL scripts
* Evaluata data models and physical databases for variances and discrepencies

Experience Required:

* 6+ years of enterprise and dimensional data modelling
* Experience using data modelling tools (like Erwin, PowerDesigner, ER/Studio etc)
* Major database platforms like Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata etc
* Data Architecture philosophies like Dimensional, ODS, DataVault
* 5+ years of management experience
* Big Data Platform experience (RDS, Aurora, Redshift, Databricks, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Hadoop, Snowflake etc)
* Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)
* SQL
* Finance or Insurance experience vital
