Senior Data Engineer - Oslo

We are searching for an experienced data engineer to be involved in helping commercial customers in their digitalisation journeys!

There are options to work with SMEs who are looking to gain a competitive edge by implementing data infrastructure to understand the insights they have, as well as long-term projects with public sector and enterprise customers seeking to completely transform and modernise their data and IT framework

You can broaden your experience working with a range of tools and technologies, as well as exploring domains which interest you, such as health and medical care, energy, and aquaculture

Your day-to-day can include:

* Working alongside customers to understand where they are in their journey to becoming more data-driven, and how they can reach their end goal
* Collaborating with internal teams and colleagues in data science, analytics, and software engineering to deliver complete end-to-end solutions
* Contributing to discussions around architecture, methodologies, and technology choice
* Taking initiative and not being afraid to try something new

You will be part of an agile, cross-functional team where you will bring your expertise and be able to contribute your ideas, but also be exposed to new technologies and ways of working

As an international team, with diverse academic and industrial backgrounds, knowledge-sharing is central to creating new and innovative solutions!

We are looking for you to have some of the following skills & experiences:

* Bachelors/Masters in a relevant subject (IT, Maths, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar)
* Hands-on experience in Data Engineering/BI
* Proficiency in Python or SQL
* Experience with data visualisation tools
* Experience with public cloud is beneficial
