A new distinctive opportunity has come about for a Platform Engineer with the chance to work with an online platform that helps organisations understand and improve their websites. My client is on the lookout for a fun and enthusiastic engineer to join the team and maintain/improve their infrastructure.

They have worked with some of the biggest companies is the world such as eBay, The World Health Organisation and Accenture.



What will you be doing?

* You'll be responsible for managing and developing our AWS infrastructure.
* maintain a constellation of distributed services, mostly using Terraform, TypeScript/Node, MySQL, Redis, ClickHouse, Kafka, and PHP.
* You'll help ensure developers have a great environment to work with, and that the lights are kept on for our customers who use our services.
* You'll have the opportunity to use and introduce some of the latest technology and be given loads of space for creativity, autonomy, developing your skills and more

Essential:

* You are proficient with AWS
* Commercial experience as a Platform Engineer
* Experience with Terraform, Unix-based operating systems, Docker, Distributed systems
* Any programming language ( JS, Python, Bash, Go)

This is a fully remote UK wide position given that you live in the UK, and there are amazing company benefits including a salary of £65,000 with clear career progression!
