Test Engineer (SDET), £80,000, Hybrid (Brighton), SaaS Company

My client is on the lookout for a mid or senior level JavaScript focused test engineer. You will initially be working closely in a cross-functional team with software engineers, product managers and UI/UX designers to automate testing strategies.

Responsibilities and Duties:

* Working in a cross-functional team to launch new user-facing features
* Defining test strategies for new features to ensure a high level of quality
* Writing end-to-end tests
* Coaching software engineers
* Participating in agile ceremonies ; regularly and sustainably delivering value in two-week sprints
* Help influence the overall architecture and direction of the applications

Skill set:

* User focused
* Proficient JavaScript and Typescript automation experience
* Knowledge of different software testing methodologies
* Exposure to agile/scrum methodologies
* Experience with testing a variety of web services, APIs, web applications and data
* Experience in BDD with tools such as Cucumber, jasmine, Cypress or similar

The salary for this role ranges from £50,000 for mid-level and up to £80,000 for senior. My client offers amazing company benefits. This role is Hybrid and you would be required to travel to their Brighton office once a month.
