SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Location: London, EC3R (Mondays and Thursday in office)

A role designed to give the Developer full autonomy working closely with AWS on greenfield projects. You will have exposore to the latest technologies and will work directly with the Head of Development. As a small and highly progressive consultancy my client key areas of focus are:

* Work with clients, AWS and other employees professionally at all times
* Regular feedback from key internal and external stakeholders
* High level of accuracy and efficiency in estimating, building and testing software for clients and in building internal software projects.



WHAT YOU'LL DO?

* Write high quality cloud native software applications
* Work with AWS technologies such as SQS, SNS, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, Redshift, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Data Pipelines, and Kinesis and more
* Perform development and maintenance of key system features and internal products used across the organization
* Drive engineering best practices and engineering excellence company wide
* Support clients to deliver high quality software to agreed deadlines in an agile work environment
* Select design patterns, establish engineering principles and mentor team members on best application practices



WHAT YOU'LL NEED?

* Programming experience with at least one modern language
* Experience and/or keen interest in building a collaborative, multi-functional team
* Takes pride in their code's design, implementation and test suite, whilst commanding mastery over their toolset and operating environment
* Creative thinker that can look at the same problem and come up with several solutions using different technologies all with their own merits
* Proven experience helping customers building high quality, cost efficient solutions - all in a cloud native environment
* Demonstrated adaptable and personable communicator who enjoys conversations about software development and the AWS cloud as well as the social aspects of working with clients, partners and suppliers.
