Engineering Manager (Python) - Oslo

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join an established development team in Oslo!

The products you and your team create will help to optimise the power & electricity industry by providing real-time forecasting of supply, demand and costs to customers

You will be leading a cross-functional team of senior and mid-level developers who work with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, React and Azure

We hope that you enjoy getting the best out of your team and your work, and be an active contributor towards the future strategy within the software department

Your position will report directly into the CEO



Some of your responsibilities will include:

* Leading the software development team, offering support & guidance to members
* Be involved in recruitment processes to grow the engineering environment further
* Working hands-on at an architectural level and maintaining a good familiarity with the product and code
* Contributing towards technical and strategic decisions
* Liaising closely with colleagues in the data team, customer success, and management

We are looking for you to bring some of the following skills & experiences:

* Professional experience in backend/fullstack engineering
* Experience working with python development
* Experience delivering software solutions
* An understanding of devops principles
* Experience working with public cloud platforms
