Role & Responsibilities

* Provide quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Opti9 values* Serves customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services
* Prepares cost estimates by studying all related customer documents, consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional personnel
* Prepare sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering trends to share with management
* Reviews federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation and anticipating future legislation to provide customers with implementation advice
* Provide technical product guidance and support during pre-sales discussions with current and prospective customers and partners
* Participate in meetings and lead technical discussions. Act as the technical Trusted Advisor to prospective clients by aligning their business and technical needs with the appropriate solutions
* Participate in customer-focused technical training, seminars, trade shows, events, and presentation
* Stay up to date on emerging technologies and products, including obtaining certifications and participation in industry events as appropriate
* Travel as needed for customer-facing events or sales activities
