PHP Developer - up to £40,000

Location: Blackburn, Lancashire

Seniority: Mid- level

My client is in the retail industry. They are currently looking to take on a PHP developer with at least 2 years of experience. My client is using the latest technologies including containerisation.

Role & Responsibilities

* To work collaboratively in a team environment using the latest technologies and upskilling where possible

Skills and Qualifications

* Strong, articulate communication skills to effectively analyse requirements and translate technical terms to suit business needs
* Strong knowledge of OOPHP
* Laravel / Zend / Symphony or any other modern PHP framework experience
* Database experience - MySQL
* Familiarity with GIT
* Commercial experience of e-commerce websites
* Solid understanding of source code
* Knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SASS and LESS

Good to have

* Active engagement in technology outside of work through attending conferences, user groups etc
* Personal projects demonstrating a desire to learn more
* Full right to work in the UK - no sponsorship available
