The Opportunity:

Our Human Engagement team uses a data-informed approach to drive product adoption. They enable all product teams to deliver user communications, in-app guidance, in the right context, when users need it most.

We are looking for an experienced Principal Engineer. How would you like to put your experience to good use, applying your skills to build a product that will have a direct impact on people's lives by enabling them to feel included and valued? . This role is for you if you have a passion for working with wide ranging technologies, get a kick out of creating well-designed code, enjoy inspiring others to set high standards in technical excellence and delivering technology solutions which delight customers.

The Responsibilities:

*

You will drive the strategy and technology to provide user data throughout our engagement tech stack.
*

You will support Human Engagement team members to learn and grow and work collaboratively with them to create the best solutions.
*

You will be working with Product Directors and Product Owners to understand business objectives, identify potential solutions and reduce uncertainty.
*

You will work closely with architects, engineers, and product owners to ensure that the product being built is of the highest quality and meets the needs of the customer.
*

You will work closely with architects/principal engineers to efficiently leverage the data from our data lak
* The Requirements:
*

You have extensive experience in areas such as Java, OOP, JEE stack/Spring, JMS, Camel or similar.
*

You have knowledge of API design patterns and standards including REST, XML, JSON, Batch Integrations.
*

You have experience in working with varied forms of data infrastructure inclusive of relational databases such as Oracle, Postgres and column-oriented databases such as Redshift.
*

You have experience in designing reliable and scalable data pipelines in Cloud (AWS or Azure).
*

You have experience developing and operating data platforms, optimising data retrieval and building applications that leverages data from data lake.
*

You have proficiency in data modelling and familiarity with data warehouse concepts such has star schema, data de-normalising patterns-terns, etc.
*

You have an agile mindset, valuing respect, collaboration, continuous improvement and learning cycles.
*

You have good stake-holder engagement skills.
*

Experience working on application design and development, experience in Javascript, HTML5, CSS and JS frameworks such as React and Angular is a bonus
