Automation Test SME | 6 months | Basingstoke | Inside IR35

Jefferson Frank are currently supporting one of the largest IT and Business consulting services in the pursuit of an experienced Automation Testing SME on a contract basis for a confidential client.

"We are looking for a dedicated subject matter expert in Automation with 3 years+ experience in a similar role to join our team. SME will lead with the documentation, the design, and the implementation of a test automation program. Work with integrators, suppliers, contract manufacturers, and internal customers to develop automation capabilities and implement to exacting standards on an aggressive project timelines.
The SME will support and advice a number of Agile delivery teams within the project, who will be responsible for the design and development of tests using the project approved tools and interact directly with the client where needed."

This is a 6 month contract opportunity and you are required to work full time on site at Basingstoke.


Essential Automation Test SME skills & experience:


Experience of full software development lifecycle using Agile(SAFe)/DevOps concepts.

Experience of Automated Testing using, for example, Robot Framework, Ansible, Selenium, Python.

Experience of Continuous Integration Tools e.g. Jenkins.

Tailoring and configuration of Automated Test Tools.

Support the designing and producing Automated Tests.

Experience of Test Management Tools e.g. ALM, Testrail etc

Desirable Skills:

1. Interpersonal and leadership skills to communicate automation vision to a wide range of industry and client stakeholders at different levels.

2. Mentoring or Team Leading experience.

3. Experience of SAFe and agile ways of working.
