Head of Data - Oslo

We have a unique opportunity for a Head of Data to join a new & growing division in Oslo!

You will be joining an established organisation with over 350 colleagues across Scandinavia and the Baltics, and be tasked with building and scaling a new team specifically focusing on modern data technologies

Like others, we see an increasing demand for modern data solutions which provide fast, flexible and scalable options to users.

We currently have a small team who bring expertise in building these platforms & solutions - but require a leader to help further the growth and offerings

Within this role you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing a strategy, and leading the practice internally. Your responsibilities can be varied and will likely evolve as the department grows, however you can expect some of the following tasks:

* Explore and discover opportunities for data solutions with existing customers
* Taking an active role in defining recruitment needs for your team, and being part of the hiring process
* Advising customers and ensure their requirements become data-driven solutions
* Being the "go-to" person internally for data - including staying up to date with the latest market trends & technologies, and best practice

We are looking for you to bring:

* High level of technical competence within data technologies such as snowflake, analytics tools, reporting solutions and DWH
* Good understanding of trends in the data market across Norway, and the future potential that exists
* The ability to grow and scale a new business area, bringing ideas and experience from previous assignments
* Previous experience in leadership which involved personnel, technical and strategic elements
* Experience in recruitment and onboarding
* Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with technical & non technical stakeholders
