I am working in partnership with an award winning Digital Transformation client based in Leeds. They are looking for an Agile Project Manager to work as an embedded function within their delivery teams. The role will involve working with Retail, Financial and Health care clients, each requiring a unique solution. Your role will have a strong focus on planning, facilitating and motivating agile project teams, and is accountable for the successful delivery of project engagements.
In terms of requirements, the ideal candidate would be able to offer a range of skills. However rather than just regurgitate the Job description, the client has highlighted to me some key skills they are looking for.Project Management Experience -
A solid background in E2E project management within IT and the ability to work with software engineering teams, would be essential. Any project management related certifications/qualification would be desirable, but not essential. Stakeholder Management
- Due to this organisation working on projects on various scales, you will be required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. However above all, being able to manage expectations, timescales and cost. Agile background
- Working with an Agile methodology aids the delivery of a successful solution. Therefore experience working in an Agile environment is an essential requirement for the role. Any Agile related certifications/qualification would be desirable, but not essential. Communication
- The ability to relay information to technical and non-technical stakeholders within the business is essential.
