Senior Java Engineer

One of our largest Nordic wide clients has experienced a huge upsurge in demand for their services, and as a result is looking to expand their existing team of developers to accommodate this increased scope.

This role is perfect for a highly qualified Java developer looking to strengthen their project portfolio with a Greenfield project at a globally recognised company.

Your next challenge?

Successful applicants will be brought in to the team to improve the capabilities of the existing elastic search cluster. You will build complex solutions from scratch, scaling and automating the existing system and using you software engineering abilities to provide a tailored solution.

This provides an opportunity to get hands on with Machine Learning, AWS and DevOps, offering a great chance to strengthen your CV. Given the exposure to customers accessing the service, this role also brings with it the opportunity to impact how thousands of users will interact with the service; ensuring you are responsible for bringing customers closer to that which means most to them.

Who are you?

You are a highly talented Java developer with experience working on both the front- and back-end. Exposure to AWS and DevOps tools will strengthen an application, as well as an understanding of the whole project life-cycle. Given the clients' belief in encouraging autonomy from its employees you will also be motivated, driven, capable of managing your own workload.

Your experience:

* Experienced with Java and Spring Boot
* Experience of working with Elastic Search
* Preferably some experience with AWS
* Ideally some experience with DevOps tools
