Position Description
Target Start Date: Aug/Sept
Duration: 6 months
Base location/remote working/hybrid details: Hybrid, with travel to site London/Bristol potentially weekly A mixture of home working plus on-demand meetings at client site (normally inner London or Bristol)
Max rate: £800 - £680
Clearance level required: Sole UK National + SC minimum and be willing to go through higher level clearance (Will consider a dual national only as a last resort)
NATIONAL SECURITY CLEARANCE must be active and transferable. Please make sure before submitting your candidate.
Clearance remains valid providing the following criteria are met:
1. Security clearances must not be more than 10 years old or 7 years for DV; and it must have more than a year remaining before expiry - ideally 18 months
2. Candidate has taken up post within 6 months of the clearance being granted.
3. The individual must have worked on a government contract or for a government department/Police Force in a role requiring NSV clearance within the last 12 months;
4. The individual must not have resided overseas for more than 6 months during the break in service between government contracts.

5. Candidate must only hold a UK/British passport. No dual nationality. If not born here they must hold the right level of clearance specified above and have renounced any rights to previous citizenships.
The Agency programme in the Public Safety Sector require a L4/L5 Senior Security Architect.
Pre-requisite Role experience:
* A proactive Security Architect with a prior technical background as a Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer, or Security Engineer
o Key - Needs a strong architecture focus. the SyA to go beyond critiquing patterns and assist the Lead SyA to consult, design and implement; security enforcing functions, policies, and procedures alongside other teams and suppliers. There are both strong technical and BA elements to this role - we require an architect comfortable with specifying both operational and technical layers.
o We are not looking for IA's or SyA's from IA background with limited/no development experience - this is not a GRC focused role: these aspects are already well covered.
* Experience working in Defence Industry, MoD, PAG or other Central Gov.
* Ideally experience working at or developing secure systems or above.
Domain Knowledge:
* MS Zero Trust Architecture and Enterprise Access Model.
* Enterprise Architecture modelling
* Identity Access Management including Identity Governance & Administration.
o Must have experience with AD DS, RBAC's and policy implementation.
o Ideally experience with IGA solutions e.g., SailPoint, OneIdentity, Omada.
o Ideally experience in development of JML processes.
* Privileged Access Management
o PAM
§ Ideally experience with PAM solutions e.g., CyberArk, Delinea, HashiCorp Boundary.
o Authentication, Authorisation, Access solutions.
o Secrets Management.
§ Ideally experience with solutions e.g., HashiCorp Vault, CyberArk Secrets Manager.
* Data lifecycle management.
o Including specification of policies, procedures, and data lifecycle security solutions.
* Virtualisation and Infrastructure security.
o Ideally developing private cloud environments or design patterns.
o Ideally supporting legacy applications and infrastructure.
