AWS Data Engineer

Jefferson Frank are working with one of the worlds leading organisations in cloud solutions and digital transformation. They are seeking Data Engineers skilled in AWS to join and drive their Cloud Centre of Excellence who are building the most innovative solutions and cloud native data platforms for some of the best known organisations globally. Projects include multi cloud, data mesh and sophisticated cloud based data warehouse/lakehouse projects.

The ideal candidate will:

Possess hands-on engineering experience using AWS data services
*

Have a sound understanding of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Cloudformation or similar)
*

Knowledge in data catalogue, quality analysis, testing, governance and observability.
*

Back end API experience and integrating od data with systems/web applications.General knowledge of common industry tooling and patterns covering areas such as data ingestion, streaming, storage, visualisation etc, as well as opinion around how to implement scalable data mesh, lakehouse and delta lake architectures.
* Passion for engineering highly automated data platforms and cloud solutions.
