Jefferson Frank are partnering with a leading Media & Digital Service client based in the centre of Helsinki. An international company active in 11 European countries, employing 1700+ employees and managing in excess of 100 Digital Services & Applications. They utilise the latest & most modern technologies to develop platforms which collectively have millions of users daily.

The group is split into multiple verticals including housing & automotive marketplaces, financial and professional media, national consumer media in addition to content & data services for both professionals and businesses. They balance being a large player within their field whilst simultaneously being driven towards sustainability which starts with provisioning reliable media content in addition to environmental consciousness.

The Role

The vacancy is within their Consumer segment teams. An area of the business responsible for managing a plethora of marketplace sites across Multi-channel news & Lifestyle Media, Housing & Rental, Autmotive (+car trading), Comparison Engines as well as more niche, digital services. This team is responsible for a market leading service due to their superior reach and services as a digital network, in addition to a unique user data pool and developing industry verticals in large industries.

As the Lead Frontend Developer, you'll be responsible for the team both from a technical and personal standpoint. Your primary focus will be manging the overall architecture; participating in design processes, getting your hands dirty with coding to migrate old legacy services and create new ones where needed in addition to coordinating with other teams, architects and relevant business stakeholders.

You will have a team of skilled developers to oversee which will include maintaining the standards of the development team through coaching/mentoring where required.

The technical stack consists Microservices-based code base including Node, TypeScript and React, deployed within an AWS network. You'll be highly proficient in architecture design and developing high quality code. In addition to this you'll bring past experience with AWS, DynamoDB services in-particular.

What they're looking for?

* Minimum 4+ years with a JavaScript tech-stack, ideally Node, TypeScript & React.js.
* Fluent in Finish.
