Fullstack IoT Developer

Position: Backend Software Engineer (Golang)

Location: Oslo

Are you a talented and passionate software engineer looking for a new challenge in the green technology industry? Our Oslo-based Greentech SaaS partner firm is seeking a skilled Golang Backend Software Engineer to join the team.

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining the backend of our software applications. You will work closely with our frontend developers, data scientists, and product owners to build scalable and robust systems that support our customers' needs for years to come.

Responsibilities:

* Optimise and scale our systems to support increasing traffic and data volume
* Design, develop, and maintain the backend of our SaaS products using Golang and Python
* Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of front and backend systems
* Work with data scientists to integrate machine learning algorithms and analytics into our products
* Write clean, efficient, and reusable code, adhering to software development best practices
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
* 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Golang backend development
* Strong understanding of software design principles
* Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis
* Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS
* Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
