Job Description:

As an Azure Data Engineer you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the data infrastructure and pipelines on the Azure platform. You will collaborate closely with the data science and analytics teams to ensure data is readily available, accurate, and well-organized. Your primary focus will be on building scalable data solutions, optimizing data performance, and ensuring data security and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and develop data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform data from various sources into Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other data platforms.
* Implement data modeling and schema designs to support efficient querying and reporting.
* Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide actionable insights.
* Optimize data storage, performance, and query efficiency on Azure platforms.
* Monitor data pipelines and proactively troubleshoot and resolve any data-related issues.
* Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure data engineering trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience as an Azure Data Engineer, with in-depth knowledge of Azure data services and tools.
* Hands-on expertise in building and managing data pipelines with Azure Data Factory.
* Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL, and PowerShell.
* Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT concepts.
* Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI is a plus.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with an eye for detail.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Fluent in English and Swedish (both written and spoken).
