Golang IoT Engineer

Position: Backend (Golang) Software Engineer

Location: Oslo

We are looking for a backend software engineer, experienced with Golang, Python, AWS (and ideally some Kubernetes).

You will work with a team of 8 engineers to build a new product on top of the existing range.

The product connects heavy devices, within a production line, aerospace and defence (among other applications). We are an Engineering first firm, a product built for Engineers, by Engineers.

Responsibilities:

* Optimise and scale our systems to support increasing traffic and data volume
* Design, develop, and maintain the backend of our SaaS products using Golang and Python
* Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of front and backend systems
* Work with data scientists to integrate machine learning algorithms and analytics into our products
* Write clean, efficient, and reusable code, adhering to software development best practices
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
* 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Golang backend development
* Strong understanding of software design principles
* Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis
* Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS
* Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
