Job Description

I am currently working with one of my most reparable clients in the public sector who have a fantastic opportunity for an AWS Solution Architect to join their expanding operations.

Within the role you'll be working with customers to support their cloud migration journey and beyond. Customer interaction is key, and you will be tasked with eliciting requirements, understanding the ecosystem, and architecting the solutions that fit best to their needs.

Successful candidates will integrate into a resourceful and innovative team of professionals dedicated to providing the best advice and solutions for issues within cyber crime/security. You'll be joining a large, established organisation that strives to nurture the culture of a small one; where a healthy work-life balance is enabled and encouraged.

Role & Responsibilities

* Lead the migration enablement from a technical perspective
* Define and document AWS architecture for migration
* Regularly run architecture reviews of the platform to best make use of vendor technologies
* Work closely with the full development community to best deliver efficient solutions
* Keep documentation of working practises to enable, re-use and support users

Skills & Qualifications

* Extensive experience in cloud migration
* Proven experience in AWS cloud platform architecture, and solving of complex business issues
* Experience in, and advocate for DevOps/CICD tools and principles
* Experience in AWS security services
* Excellent communication skills - verbally and written
* AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification would be a plus!
