AWS Cloud Engineer with Public Trust Clearance

Senior AWS Cloud Engineer - (AWS Premier Partner) - Remote



Our customer, an AWS partner, is seeking talented and motivated Sr Cloud Engineer for a client in the Government space. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS, Infrastructure (Terraform/Cloud Formation) and a Database background.



Key Responsibilities:

* Partner with interdisciplinary groups to collect specifications and outline requirements for cloud infrastructure necessities.
* Devise, implement, and oversee solutions based on AWS, guaranteeing security, accessibility, and optimal performance.
* Forge automation scripts to enhance operational work flows and boost effectiveness.
* Identify and resolve cloud-centered challenges to ensure uninterrupted functionality.
* Remain current on top-tier practices within the field and nascent cloud technologies to fuel advancements.



Requirements:

* Active Public Trust clearance
* Proficient grasp of leading cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, encompassing fundamental services and infrastructure elements.
* Hands-on involvement with infrastructure-as-code utilities like Terraform, Cloud Formation, and Ansible.
* Comprehension of cloud security tenets and optimal practices, covering access controls, encryption, and security groups.
* Expertise in the realm of data and database oversight, spanning data assimilation, ETL procedures, enhancement of SQL queries, and database management.
* Acquaintance with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
* Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, data lakes, and platforms for data analytic.
