Our client is one of the largest global consultancies within the space of AWS, and the biggest supplier to the government sector within the United Kingdom. Through working on large, enterprise scale projects, our client shapes the country within a variety of industries including Healthcare, Hospitality, Public Sector, and more.

Recently our client has opened a department specialising in the Digital Customer Experience, with the vision to navigate their customers through their journey into digital transformation and deliver highly available, scalable enterprise solutions on IAAS/PAAS platforms designed around these customers goals.

Our client is therefore looking for engineers from a range of technical backgrounds who are looking to migrate to the Platform Engineering space to implement and maintain their customers platforms and services, and contribute towards their overall business units strategy.

Whilst this position is available to those from a wide range of technical backgrounds, including infrastructure, development, testing, operations and support, the ideal candidate for this role will have experience in the following:

* AWS within production environments
* Continuous Integration systems such as Jenkins / Concourse /GitHub Actions
* Configuration Management Tooling such as Ansible / Puppet / Chef / Salt
* Hash Corp Suite such as Packer / Terraform / Vault / Consul
* Containerisation and Orchestration such as Docker / Kubernetes
* Scripting and Programming skills such as Ruby / Python / Go
