Who is our client?

Our client is one of the global leaders within Visual Effects, working on major award winning films and highly regarded for their extraordinary images and scenes within Hollywood pictures.

Here you will have the opportunity to work on greenfield projects and the enhancement of existing applications, both independently and as a part of their close-knit team.

What responsibilities can you expect to assume?

Our client is looking for someone to work extensively on maintaining and scaling a proprietary IoT platform using Typescript on AWS, as well as migrating existing platforms over to an AWS serverless architecture. Further duties include:

* Playing a role in architectural design and advising on best tech stack/tooling
* Developing greenfield services in Typescript through leveraging existing internal platform infrastructure
* Introducing DevOps best practises
* Working within an agile environment with modern delivery practises

What experience is sought?

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of experience DevOps, and a strong knowledge of a range of AWS tooling's such as the following:

* AWS: 3+ Years of experience

* CDK, CloudFront, API Gateway, EC2, RDS (Essential)
* CloudFormation, Cognito, SSO, Backup WAF, IAM, Route53 (Desirable)

* Knowledge of Jira
* CDK refactoring and optimisation
* Configuration management
* CI/CD exposure
