Opportunity for a Full Stack Developer with strong Java experience in Stockholm, 45,000 - 55,000 SEK.

I'm hiring for an experienced Java developer to join a global travel organisation as part of their tech team in Stockholm.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience with Java and experience with Angular. Knowledge of Test Automation, DevOps, AWS, infrastructure services or security architecture, would also be beneficial.

The role and responsibilities

The client is looking for ambitious Java developers to hire and cope with the increased workload.

The most important is to have the right mindset, ambition and to enjoy what the company is doing. They want active contributors to join a modern environment with the latest tech-stack and the experience needed is at least 3 years. As a member of their Product Team, you will have the chance to work together with other developers, the Product owner and engineers in a collaborative environment.



As a Java Developer you'll be working both in expanding the capabilities of their Products even further, in a collaborative mindset while adding your touch, and you'll be also helping with integrating their services/products in the complex systems of their customers. You will be mainly working on their different software (and hardware) solutions or Cloud services, ensuring data and functionality are provided to all of their mobile apps and portals, in a right way.







The right person will be able to demonstrate

* At least 3 years of hands on experience in Java Development. They are Open to Senior profiles too.
* Knowledge and experience in JEE OR Springboot.
* MongoDB OR MySQL experience.
* Result driven, positive and collaborative mindset.
* The company is using AWS, so it's always a plus if you have some knowledge or previous experience. If not, this is not a dealbreaker at all.
* Fluency in Dutch If you're an intermediate speaker who is willing to slowly improve, they'd be happy to have a meeting with you!
* Willingness to be part of a pioneer of the industry.
* Willingness to be part of a young and collaborative team.

Our client is in search of an experienced Software Engineer proficient in native code Linux, network, and kernel development to join the rapidly expanding and high-performing engineering team. The focus of this role is on enhancing their security software by emphasizing blocking and analysis rather than the Cloud Application side.

As a Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of a team dedicated to developing home security solutions for operator home routers (CPE-devices). Your responsibilities will include building highly optimized software for Linux-based CPE devices, developing solutions for network security, parental control, and network device intelligence, as well as porting the software to various Linux-based router platforms.

The team, consisting of 16 Engineers (6 in Lithuania, 9 in Finland, and 1 in Hungary), comprises individuals from 5 different nationalities (Russian, English, Finnish, Estonian, and a Kiwi). This role specifically involves working on the Customer Specific side of the business, focusing on certain build features for high-profile customers. The work schedule follows a strict working day, eliminating the need for late-night calls with American teams. The primary technologies in use include C and Linux Kernel, with a dedicated "Agent Feature" team working on the internal product.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop highly optimized software for Linux-based CPE devices
- Create solutions for network security, parental control, and network device intelligence
- Port the developed solution to various Linux-based CPE platforms
- Build automation for functional, performance, and resilience testing
- Contribute to test lab infrastructure planning and implementation



Essential Skills and Experience:
- Hands-on experience in Embedded C programming, native code Linux development, including proficiency in Linux Application Development (Yocto, Arch Linux is beneficial)
- Strong knowledge of the Linux network stack is beneficial, encompassing experience with IP networks and TCP/IP technologies, along with a solid understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 fundamentals.
- Familiarity with embedded Linux build systems such as Openwrt and Yocto.
- Excellent understanding of IP-based protocols.
- Expertise in building Firewalls or protocol clients.
- Knowledge of developing C applications in the Linux environment.
- Detailed knowledge of Linux operating systems architecture.
- Experience in developing software for embedded systems.
- Proven track record of building solutions with high stability, performance, security, maintainability, and scalability.
- Familiarity with the Agile software development process.
- Proficiency in systems monitoring, performance optimization, root cause analysis, and advanced troubleshooting.
- Experience with CI/CD, TDD, and test automation frameworks (PyTest).
- Networking stack expertise, including experience with IP networks and TCP/IP technologies, as well as Layer 2/Layer 3 fundamentals.
- Bonus: Hardware understanding.

Minimum experience requirement: 2-5 years, though a deeper level of experience is not considered a decisive factor. The candidate values potential and is open to considering slightly more junior candidates.
