I have a number of urgent Platform / DevOps / Site Reliability engineer positions for an award-winning consultancy that is looking to scale up its team by recruiting Platform & DevOps Engineers.

Role: To build and operate cloud services that meet security, reliance, and cost/performance for clients

You must have a good technical and working knowledge of Terraform and Ansible.

You MUST have:

* Experience working with Terraform & Ansible
* Write add-ons libraries and plug-ins
* Experience in Docker and Docker files
* Experience working with (AWS, Azure, or Google)
* Experience creating pipelines using CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GoCD, CircleCI)
* Experience with IaaC (Terraform, Cloudformation)
* Kubernetes
* Scripting / Coding Experience
* Hands-on configuration and IAAC are a must for the senior roles.

Background: AWS, Azure, GCP, or Hybrid. Highly desirable to be from a Software Engineering background. If you're from an infrastructure background then you must have good coding and scripting experience.

Travel: Need to be able to travel post-Covid.

Salary: £45K to £95K dependent on experience

The position is a full-time position at their Oslo office collaborating closely with their engineering team. Their focus is to build and maintain IT systems running in their data centre as well as across different cloud provider platforms.

Duties And Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain infrastructure as code cloud deployments
* Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
* Participate in architecture and software development activities
* Establish, configure, test and maintain deployment and configuration management tools
* Plan and implement systems automation as required for better efficiency
* Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)

Key qualifications

* Years of working experience on Linux based infrastructure
* Good understanding of public cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
* Experience with Ansible, Terraform or other infrastructure as code solutions.

* Familiarity with container orchestration services, especially Kubernetes

It's a DevOps Engineer role working as part of an Agile team to help clients build and improve digital services using the best of open source software. You'll be working on cross-functional engineering projects building supportable and sustainable services working with some of the greatest technology.
