Location: UK Based, fully remote

This company encourage fully remote and flexible working. They currently have around 150 employees across the UK and Netherlands. They are keen to upskill suitable candidates who have AWS or Azure experience and are interested in learning GCP.

Skills Required:

- Ability to write tooling in at least one programming language

- Terraform

- Cloud experience - with any public cloud provider (AWS/GCP/Azure)

- Cloud architecture understanding

- Containerisation experience (Docker/Kubernetes)

- Configuration management tooling (Puppet/Chef/ Ansible)

Any certifications are a bonus!

Our client is a rapidly-growing AWS ISV Partner, looking to bring on an experienced Principal/Senior Software Engineer with strong architecture, containerization and infrastructure design background. This position is a leading role on their growing Engineering team and handles a range of software engineering requirements including leading a fully automated cloud infrastructure environment from the provisioning, deployment, management, and oversight of a highly scalable set of SaaS services.

Job Requirements:

* Excellent understanding of AWS tools/services - AWS Lambda serverless, EC2, S3, VPC, RDS
* 8+ years as a Lead, Senior or Principal software engineer, extremely hands-on with programming / development.
* Design and implement Complex backend containerized and serverless microservices on AWS while leveraging AWS Lambda and Docker Containers.
* Hands-on working with Time Series modeling / analysis experience is highly preferred.
* ML, AI, Data Science, or any AWS IoT experience is highly preferred.
* High-volume data management, designing ETL pipelines and backend data frameworks
* Architect and implement high volume/ high frequency data loading and transformation processes using ETL methods.
* Docker, Kubernetes containerization experience is required.
* Languages: Java, Javascript (required)
